Medical Evidence

What is medical evidence.  Is it a CSI episode on TV?  No, for most social security disability, medical evidence is not DNA samples or finger print matching.  Medical evidence involves treatment notes from physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and other medical providers that treat patients on a regular basis.

Social security and Administrative Law Judges look for consistency with your reporting of symptoms with the treatment notes of your provider.  Also, these reviewers look at how often you receive treatment and the type of treatment you receive on your medical visits. This medical evidence is critical to receiving social security benefits.
